Conditions of Service Agreement

My application to subscribe to The Christian Science Community Board (TCSCB), or my use of its facilities, indicates that, while visiting or communicating on or through TCSCB:

   a. I understand that all writings appearing on TCSCB or coming through its email service are private informal statements made to this community only. I understand that they are to be considered the equivalent of informal verbal communications and that they are not intended for public distribution. Understanding this, I agree that, as a visitor or subscriber, these communications are for my own personal use and inspiration only, and I will neither copy nor distribute them to others.
   b. I agree to communicate with all in the spirit of Christian behavior taught in the "Sermon on the Mount" from the Bible (Matthew Chapter 5) and the First and Sixth Tenets from the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy (p. 497).
   c. I understand that TCSCB is not a forum for criticizing or lecturing others on Christian Science, nor for promoting a political or other agenda, and I agree not to do so.
   d. I agree that this forum is not a place to attack The Mother Church, The Christian Science Publishing Society, any of these organizations' officials, or any Church historical figures, and I agree not to do so.
   e. I will not promote, advocate or express any unchristian attitudes and behaviors, since I understand that Christian Science is based on the Bible.
   f. I will not promote or advocate other religions, or religious and metaphysical ideas at variance with those found in the writings of Mary Baker Eddy. (This does not preclude discussions of them.)
   g. I will not promote or advocate preventive or curative methods other than those taught in Christian Science.
   h. I am a sincere student of Christian Science, though I may not at present be a member of a Christian Science church.
   i. Considering the cost per member is US$25.00 per year, I agree to pay this amount, or whatever amount I can honestly afford.* (TCSCB will inform subscribers if costs are not being met, and subscribers agree to work together to resolve a continuing shortfall.)
   j. I agree not to use any information about any subscriber, including the email address, for any commercial purpose without the subscriber's specific approval.

The Christian Science Community Board welcomes all subscribers willing to abide by the spirit and the letter of these provisions.
