CSList provides worldwide networking for:

Nettiquette for the CSList
We should be the most considerate and courteous people on the Internet,
and these guidelines are necessary to keep e-mail flowing smoothly and
effectively.
Before pressing the send key, consider
carefully the following:
- Do you really want to send this message to 100-plus people?
- Read the whole message — including quotes —
and decide whether you really want to send the entire message?
- Is your message in line with the purpose of CSList?
- Is your reply courteous and friendly in tone?
(To remind yourself, you could print these points and stick them on your
monitor! Any other points you would like to have covered may be sent to me. . . by private
e-mail!)
Why are these points important?
- The list — more than 100 of your friends — sometimes receives
messages that would be better sent to an individual — personal congratulations,
reminiscences, etcetera. Please consider carefully if all 100 plus really want to see your
message.
- Far too many are sending short 1- or 2-line responses, and appending a
10- or 20-line quote to which they are responding. The courteous thing is to quote only
those portions of a message to which you are directly responding, or just enough of the
beginning of the message to identify the message to which you are responding.
If anyone feels he needs help in implementing these recommendations, please let me know. .

Additional benefits
- The less 'garbage' we send back and forth, the less clogging will occur
on the Internet.
- When we are reading CSList messages, we will have much less 'junk' to
scroll past hurriedly. Just send the meat!
- Please remember the purpose of CSList is sharing, blessing, and
healing. Occasional fun, lighthearted comments, and a variety of topics are encouraged,
but let's keep in mind the list's basic function.
- Deeply felt ideas are shared here, of necessity, and they are frequently
of great diversity. Therefore, it is vitally important to keep the "healing
standard" in thought.
The healing standard
"I am willing to drop my strongly held human opinions,
and strive to see how God, Mind, Love, views this situation or issue."
When we commit ourselves to this, we can see great blessing forthcoming!
